But at the end of day - it's not our job to judge somebody. Our job is to make a choice. Cause, as long there will be buyers, there will be sellers.

☽ When SVALBON started as fashion brand, I knew - silk will be one of main fabrics we will use. This has changed a little by now because of the way silk is made. Silk have a lot good sides as - it's natural, it feels really good on your skin, it's one of the most elegant fabrics made, it has temperature control features etc., but the bad side is - the way it's made and high price. At the moment SVALBON don't use 100% silk anymore but mix of silk and polyester. And slowly, we go for 100% polyesters.
☽ Polyesters (satin) - Some years ago satin were really shinny and looked cheap. But nowadays fabric manufacters made step further and there is already polyesters which looks like a silk now.
+ it's cheaper than silk, so we can guarantee you a better price,
+ it looks almost like silk,
+ it's more durable than silk,
+ vegan,
+ high color fastness,
+ don't need special care
- it's synthetic, it's not the best at hot weather and maybe not the best choice if you have any skin problems,
- heavier than silk,
- can have tendency to wrinkle,
- pulled out thread will be really visible and there is nothing much to fix it,
☽ Polyesters (costume fabrics) - thicker type of fabrics
+ thicker - better for colder weather,
+ has a really good ''falling'' ,
+ more durable than silk or satin,
+ usually don't have a tendency to wrinkle,
+ usually don't need special care,
+ high color fastness
- it's synthetic, it's not the best at hot weather and maybe not the best choice if you have any skin problems,
- not so pleasant on naked skin (we use cotton or viscose as lining),
-heavier than silk or satin.

+ more durable than silk chiffon,
+pleasant on naked skin,
+ pleasant on naked skin,
+ won't ''loose or change form''
+ can be matte and light shiny,
+ usually don't wrinkle,

- pulled out thread will be really visible and there is nothing much to fix it, need to look out of any details which can damage fabric,

+ good for people with skin problems,
+ good for both- colder and hot weather,

+ pleasant on naked skin
- it can look too ''usual'',
- wrinkles,
- not the best choice if you have animals - takes on fur,
- with wrong care it can shrink,
- with time it can ''loose'' color
